AK Legal is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Standards We Follow
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
We also comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation.
Measures Taken
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds throughout the site
- Alt text provided for all meaningful images
- Logical heading structure (H1 → H2 → H3) on all pages
- All pages are navigable by keyboard without a mouse
- Focus indicators are visible for keyboard users
- Forms are labelled and include clear error messages
- No content flashes more than three times per second
Known Limitations
While we strive to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards across the entire site, some older content may not fully conform. We are actively working to resolve any known issues.
